Welcome to News & Events Page for the Manchester United Supporters club North Devon Branch. If you wish to find out information about news and events regarding the supporters club, then you have come to the right place. The aim of this page is to make both members and non-members aware of any news or important events that are going on with the supporters club. We also want to point out the latest comings and goings at Old Trafford by providing a section totally about Manchester United News.

This way, we are able to keep fans up to date with all of the relevant information regarding your favourite football team. It is important to keep fans in contact with the supporters club, so that is what we are aiming to do. The main reason we have made this page was to make members aware of any events that will occur throughout the season, for example, a fundraising event or committee meeting. This way we let everyone know about these events to make the members aware of them.

Also, it will contain information about any changes made to games, travel arrangements, or any other important information. So make sure that you visit this page on a regular basis. So please have a look below, as we hope this information helps.

TOP STORY: Important date for your diary
		This years AGM date set
		This years AGM will take place on Wednesday the 9th of July at the Ebberly Arms Bear Street Barnstaple starting at 8 pm. The election of the committee will take place and a discussion of moving the branch forward, as well as the return of the "Overnight Stay".The results of the "John Medland" Branch member of the year as well as the "Nick Cooper" Branch Player of the season will be announced. The evening will contain a raffle as well as one of " Coggies" famous quizzes PLEASE PUT THIS DATE IN YOUR DIARY AND ATTEND REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR CLUB.

North Devon Branch Flag anyone !!	New Discussion group on Facebook.com


	The "Nick Cooper " Lifeline Club
			"Lifeline Club" to be cancelled
			Due to the turn in fortune of the branch the commmittee have decided that the "Nick Cooper" lifeline club is now longer reguired. This scheme was started several seasons ago when the branch was going through extreme financial problems. Many households contributed £2 and above each month to bolster club funds. This scheme raised around £2000 a season and no doubt if it was'nt for this money the Branch would not be running today.So all members who pay by direct debit please cancel (you will recieve a letter from Ben to do this). Again a great THANK YOU to all members who have contributed over the last few seasons YOU are the reason the branch is still running today. It was also decided that North Devon Branch Player of the Season would be renamed The "Nick Cooper" North Devon Branch Player of the Season Award.

	North Devon Branch Flag anyone !!!
			Members to design the Branch Flag ?
			The committee have looked into the possabilty for next season to get a Branch Flag made up. I know this bought up before but due to finacial problems the idea was put on hold. If this idea is to materialise for next season the members have the opportunity to enter a design for the "said" Flag. So all members get designing and give your design to a committee member. The committee will then choose what they think is a the best design then IF and WHEN the time is right our very own branch Flag will be made up. 	Munich 50th anniversary Social Night
			A huge thank you to the 14 of you that turned up.. where were the rest of you???
			We made the most of the evening,by having 3 teams playing pool,darts and skittles. The top 2 teams were tied after the games had finished,so it went to a tie-break quiz. Congratulations (grudgingly) to Neil Waters,Dominic Sussex for getting 3 out of 5 questions right. They beat quizmaster Wayne"Coggie" Coglan and Julie Lake (who had the awesome duo of Mark Sussez and me on their side) by one question and won the day for "Team 2"(which also included Dean Evans and Andy "Hoppy" Hopkins). Because of the small turnout, there was no draw, raffle or donation to charity but thank you very much to those who offered to donate to charity before the evening. A good time was had by all but it was a shame that there was not more of us to remember the Munich Disaster TOLLY
